How do I purchase a Season Pass

  • To purchase a season pass you can go to the Epic Pass Website. You can also call 970.754.0005 for any pass purchasing or questions.

How do I pick up my Season Pass?

  • If you have completed your information online then your season pass will be mailed to you. If you are missing something from your order/account online then you will be able to pick up your season pass from Wilmot Mountain. If you have questions about your pass or purchase please call 970.754.0005.

My Season Pass hasn't come in the mail, what should I do?

  • First check and make sure that everything has been updated in your account on epicpass.com.  If it has, then it may not have made it to you through the mail due to delays with the USPS.  If it has not arrived by the time you have a reservation at Wilmot Mountain, you can pick up your pass from our outdoor ticket windows on site when you arrive.

I lost my Season Pass, what should I do?

  • If you lose your season pass you will need to call the help center to report it missing. They will shut off your missing pass. You can then request to have a new pass printed on site.

How do I request a refund for my pass?

  • Review the EPIC COVERAGE information.  Please reach out to the Epic Pass team by calling 970.754.0005.

How do I use my SWAF and Buddy Tickets?

  • These tickets can be purchased through your epicpass.com account.
  • You can also purchase these tickets on site at the ticket windows.

How do I use my "Extra Days" on my Epic Day Pass?

  • These are on your Pass, so you can head straight to the lifts!
  • The Pass is set up to use your extra days first before using your regular days.  So you can ski locally without fear of using your days out west!

Is Wilmot Tubing open?

How do I buy Tubing tickets?

Tubing tickets are available for purchase online.  If a date/time states the session is sold out, there are no tickets available for that session.

Tickets are also available for purchase at the ticket window for walk ups.  These tickets are only available if the session shows availability online.

  • Ordering online is recommended, tubing tends to sell out!  Buy Tickets on our TUBING web page.

How old/tall do I need to be to snow tube?

  • Wilmot Mountain does not have a minimum age requirement for tubing but the minimum height is 42 inches. The child must be able to safely ride by themselves in a tube. All tubes are single rider only.

How do I rent equipment (ski/snowboard)?

  • Equipment can be purchased online or on site when you arrive. There is an online cost and a window cost.  Save money by purchasing online in advance!  We recommend purchasing your rentals online before you visit when you purchase your lift tickets.

What size of skis/snowboards do you have?

  • We have a complete range of ski lengths from 70cm to 170cm.
  • We have a complete range of board lengths from 70cm to 165cm.

 

What size of boots do you have?

  • Ski: Child size 8 to adult size 16.
  • Snowboard: Child size 7 to adult size 16.

Where are your Terrain Parks located?

Lift tickets and rentals can be purchased online or in person.  The window rate for both tickets and rentals is higher than the online price.  We recommend purchasing lift tickets and rental online before you arrive to save!  You can even purchase these from your phone in the parking lot when you arrive!

When do you open/close for the season?

  • Wilmot Mountain historically has opened anywhere from late November to Early December. We have historically closed mid March. However, every season is different based on the weather.
  • The best way to stay the most up to date is to follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
All guests are welcome to bring their own food when visiting Wilmot Mountain.

Wilmot Mountain does offer vegetarian options.

There is no on-site lodging for Wilmot Mountain. However, we have several local hotels and lodgings. Check out our Local Lodging page for more information.
Wilmot Mountain does not offer childcare. However, our ski school offers lessons for willing, potty-trained children ages 3 and up. Please help prepare your children for separation from mom and dad for the day.

Vail Resorts allows the following sliding devices at our resorts:

SKIS:  Allowed with a working brake binding system or a retention device.

SNOWBOARDS: Allowed with a retention device (Snowboard binding considered ok)

TELEMARK SKIS: Allowed with a retention device or a working brake system. (Please be aware of releasable telemark bindings as they typically do not have a retention device)

MONOSKIS: Allowed with a working brake system or retention device.

SNOWBLADES (figgles): Allowed with a retention device.

SNOWDECKS: Allowed, but must have metal edges and a leash. The leash must be attached between you and the board when you are on  the slopes. You must keep the board secure when riding the chairlift. (The board can't  dangle below the chairlift seat on the leash).

ADAPTIVE DEVICES: Allowed but must have metal edges with a retention device or designed in such a way that the device stops if disengaged by the user. All adaptive devices must be able to be safely loaded and unloaded from passenger tramways.

 

Below are a few examples of what Vail Resorts does NOT allow for alternative sliding devices at our resorts which includes but not limited to the following devices:

SNOW TRIKES : NOT Allowed: neither sit down nor stand up versions (too wide of a foot print to load/unload chairlifts safely) 

SNOWBIKES (bicycle conversion): NOT Allowed (bikes not allowed to have gears/chain/wheels/tires or crank assembly)

SNOWSKATES: NOT Allowed

PLASTIC SNOWBOARDS: NOT Allowed (plastic snowboards that do not have metal edges)

SLEDS/DISCS: NOT Allowed

SNOWSCOOTERS: NOT Allowed

TOBOGGANS/TUBES: NOT Allowed.  If you are visiting our tubing area, Wilmot Mountain will provide the tubes.

Wilmot Mountain will have lockers located in the Rental Shop and in the Main Lodge.  Payment for the lockers can either be done as cash or credit.  All of the lockers will have unlimited in/out privileges.
Wilmot Mountain has two retail shops. One located in the Ski/Snowboard Main Lodge and the other located at the Tubing area. Check out what they have to offer on out Retail page.

Tubing

Come to the ticket windows to purchase and pick up tubing tickets.  These are located on the south side of the building.  When looking at the Tubing lodge from the parking lot, this is the right end of the building.

Skiing/Snowboarding

  • Once you park, come to our main Wilmot tower to the main walkway. At the top of this walkway on the right hand side you will see our outdoor ticket windows. This is where you can purchase Tickets & Rentals.
  • If the outdoor ticket windows are closed, just inside the main doors you will find out Guest Services desk. Please go here for Help.

Rentals

  • Our rental department is located on the lower level of the Walt's Tavern Building.  Once you have purchased your rentals, head down to pick out your boots and get your skis or board, and helmet.

Skiing/Snowboarding Lesson

If you are taking a lesson, the first place you want to stop is our Ski & Ride School.  This building is at the south end of the parking lot, just beyond the main walkway and Walt's/Rentals.  You can work with the Ski & Ride School to purchase your lift ticket and rentals with your lesson, if you have not already purchased them.

Wilmot Mountain is an Alpine skiing location. There are several local parks that would allow cross country skiing. Check out Visit Kenosha for more information.
Wilmot Mountain does not allow pets on property. Service animals are allowed in our buildings and base area. Animals are not permitted on lifts.
