Come watch the fastest skiers and snowboarders compete for best time in Slalom!
CMSC Alpine Racing is aimed at skiers of all levels. Any adult who can navigate a Nastar course will have fun and be competitive in this program. Racers with top-of-the-line gear, speedsuits and secret waxing methods will find like minded skiers here as well.
The 14 race series, spread out over three months, provides skiing and social opportunities for all. Each race consists of two runs, with the winners determined by fasted combined time in each class. Slalom races require quick, short radius turns and test technical ski skills.
CMSC - The Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council ("CMSC") was formed in 1957 and now has 70 plus member clubs. The clubs represented offer downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing as well as various other activities year round. They are adventure clubs, singles clubs, family clubs, and clubs that welcome all comers.
